Yeah Baby!!! Turgeon returns tonight against Calgary. He's been out the past 4 weeks, it'll be good to have him back. Todd from Calgary will be looking for The Flames to burn The Stars yet once again this season. Personally, I think the addition of Roman Turek to The Flames line up doesn't help our odds any. We'll have to wait and see.
I found a great article or Zubov posted on the Stars site. It's worth reading.

Matt, who is not really a Stars fan but rather a Donald Audette fan, asked my why the Stars traded Audette for Rucinsky last week. I told him I was not really sure why, but that I felt it was probably a personal issue between Coach Hitch and Mr. Audette.
Let's look at the facts, Audette who has been a healthy player spent several of the earlier game this season on the bench. It 's been reported in the paper here in Dallas that Hitch was not very happy with Audette's discipline. Hey! I thought Audette was an awesome player...of course I only got to see him for 60-65 minutes a game and not 7 days a week. Everyone in Dallas knows that Hitch is a very strict disciplinarian. He demands 200 percent out of each player every night and in every practice. Last year Belfour and Hitch had a run in during a visit to Boston. For a day or two we thought The Eagle had flown the nest.
I don't want to help the rumor mill out here, but it had become pretty evident that Audette and Hitch did not see eye-to-eye. Gee, you tell me who's gonna win that battle...
Audette will be missed, but since Dallas has returned to their defensive style of play, I guess Hitch thought that Audette was more of an Offensive player than a Defensive one. Who knows, that's between Hitch and Gainey.

WELCOME TO THE NLH Mr. Erskine!!!!
Erskine played his first NHL game Monday night against The Islanders and boy was it a great premiere. This kid is a major hitter. The Sin Bin has this guys name written all over it. His career PIM(Penalties In Minutes) is an astounding 874. That's only 4 season of playing kids. It's going to be a tight race between Morrow, Langenbrunner, Verbeek and Erskine to see who will reign supreme and be this seasons PIM leader for The Stars.

Quite a physical game againts the Sharks Saturday night. Sydor left the game after getting hit in the ankle with the puck. His status is still unknown. Matvichuck scored his first goal of the season in the 3-2 overtime victory for the Stars. The Stars are now 4-1-2 in their last seven games against San Jose, and are unbeaten in their last four games at the Shark Tank, going 3-0-1. The Stars play the Islanders tonight.

Ouch!! Stars had a rough night last night against The Coyotes. Donald Audette scores the Stars only goal in the 5-1 romping at American Airlines Center last night. Modano and Turgeon are still out. Modano with back spasms and Turgon with an ankle injury. Hope those boy both return soon.
There had been a lot of talk in the early part of the season about the relationship between Coach Hitchcock and Donald Audette. Audette sat out several of the early games as an example of Hitch's disfavor. The good news is he's back in the line up and has been playing up a storm scoring 3 goals and making 3 assists in the last 5 games.
Next game Sunday at Anaheim.

Turgeon goes on injured reserve for 2-4 weeks with a sprained ankle. He will be missed. :(
Jon Sims recalled from Utah while defenseman Jyrki Lumme is granted non-roster status by the NHL. :)
Stars play Nashville tonight. GO STARS!!
